Sin City (2005). Graphic novelist Frank Miller co-directed with Robert Rodriguez, and the result pleased almost all graphic fanatics. Sin City is really Basin City, and it’s sinful as hell, being populated by corrupt cops, corrupt politicians, cannibals, murderers who enjoy their sport and, oh yes, some very hungry wolves. The movie’s also got an intriguing cast, including Mickey Rourke, Bruce Willis, Josh Hartnett and Jessica Alba. Look for Sin City 2 in 2010 and Sin City 3 in 2011.
