Planning to hit the road this summer? Vacation season is upon us. Whether you’re flying, driving, or taking some other mode of transportation, you might want to get an idea of what you can see and do when you get there.

Okay, so not every one of the 50 states (and District of Columbia) is necessarily a  hot spot, but tourism departments do their best to put a positive spin on local points of interest. Hype is part of the package, of course, but you can find plenty of useful links and information, too.
