Quantcast

Since the dawn of time, Man has had the urge to create lists. Actually — frequently — Woman has had the urge to create lists, and then hand them to Man to get them done.

As we evolved, Humankind has come to rely on lists: to be entertained by them, to compile them, to debate them, to be infuriated by them and to try to remember them for school reports. What do you think the yellow pad was created for?

Which brings us to now.

What better place than the Web to find a bunch of lists? We know you don’t want to sit for hours, sweating over Google to try and find out Television’s Most Memorable Aliens or Pro Football’s Toughest Schedules for 2008?

Here at GetListy world headquarters, our goal is simple. We want to become the definitive source of lists on the internet. Who else will tell you the Five Worst Film Comedies of All Time, or 10 Creatures to Avoid? We know it’s a lofty goal, and it will take some time. But we are determined.

As a matter of fact, we’re making a list of all the lists we need to have. It’s a very long list. If you would like to send us a list, or request a list from us, please do. Do you know what the 12 essential spices are for the kitchen? Or which episodes of Seinfeld were the funniest? We don’t, but we’re hoping you do.

There’s no such thing as a “bad” list. Well, actually, that’s not true. GetListy is family friendly, so don’t get nasty on us. Email us at info@getlisty.com with your lists, and requests for lists.

We’ll add them to our list.
