Top Receivers, Total Yards

The NFL has come to be regarded as something of a quarterback’s club. Conventional wisdom dictates that you can’t win — or win big, at least — without a Tom Brady, a Peyton Manning, or an up-and-comer like Peyton’s little brother, Eli.

Even the best of those passers, however, is only as good as the guy on the other end of the ball. That’s where game breakers such as Indianapolis’ Reggie Wayne, New England’s Randy Moss, Dallas’ Terrell Owens, and Cincinnati’s Chad Johnson get into the act.

What would Sunday afternoon be like without these preening, showboating, and — yes — extraordinarily talented men? Perish the thought.

Submitted, for your inspection, are 2007’s Top 10 receivers in total yards:

1. Reggie Wayne, Indianapolis — 1,510

2. Randy Moss, New England — 1,493

3. Chad Johnson, Cincinnati — 1,440

4. Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona — 1,409

5. Terrell Owens, Dallas — 1,355

6. Brandon Marshall, Denver — 1,325

7. Braylon Edwards, Cleveland — 1,289

8. Marques Colston, New Orleans — 1,202

T8. Roddy White, Atlanta — 1,202

10. Torry Holt, St. Louis — 1,189
