It’s one thing to fret over the mile-long list of options when you go out to shop for a new car. How much do you need? Is a heated seat really essential? Does your car need to tell you when you’ve made a wrong turn?

Choices, choices, everywhere you look. Among the most basic: What color vehicle do you want to be seen in for the next couple of years…or longer?

Results of the Dupont Automotive Color Popularity Report might surprise you a bit. The study was released at the end of 2008, so it covers the current model year.

Which are the hues of choice?
