Watchmen: Movies from graphic novels

Art School Confidential (2006). Director Terry Zwigoff and artist Daniel Clowes, who gave us Ghost World, had just a tad less luck with this tale of an aspiring artist from the ‘burbs who finds that urban art school is about a lot more than creative drawing. All this, and a serial killer’s on the loose, too. With John Malkovich, Angelica Huston and Jim Broadbent in the cast, it’s a deserving rental although it won’t haunt you like Ghost World.
