6. Ghost
Remember when Demi Moore was a real movie star? She’s probably best remembered for her work in this otherworldly romance. Sam (Patrick Swayze) and Molly (Moore) are a happy couple, or at least they are untilĀ Sam is shot dead as they catch a robber in the act. Liberated from his body, Sam discovers that Carl, a friend and co-worker involved in a money laundering scam, had hired the robber in an attempt to get Sam’s office computer password. Sam encounters a phony medium, Oda Mae (Whoopi Goldberg), who can actually hear him. Oda Mae contacts Molly, who is skeptical that she is in touch with Sam. Things get very complicated before the ghostly Sam helps kill Carl, appears briefly to Molly, then heads off to heaven. There’s a lot going on here, so maybe you should see it for yourself.

C’mon, this made the list? At 3 hrs and 14 minutes Leo was on the screen about 3hrs too long. Besides, sit through all this when you know the ending, if you don’t, shhh, the boat sinks.
