1. Emmitt Smith - NFL’s all-time leading rusher, and the only man to ever win a Super Bowl ring, the NFL rushing title and the NFL and Super Bowl MVP awards in the same year. Won Dancing with the Stars Season 3 with Cheryl Burke in the Fall of 2006.
2. Troy Aikman - The general of the “Triplet” and quite possibly the most accurate passer to ever play QB. Led his team to three Super Bowl wins, MVP of Super Bowl XXVII, 2006 Hall of Fame Inductee, and now a very successful FOX commentator.
3. Michael Irvin - One of “the Triplets” and also called the “Playmaker”. Holds team records for receptions (750), yards (11,904) and touchdowns (65). 1992 Pro Bowl MVP. Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2007.
4. Tom Landry - Founding coach of the Boys, led team to 20 consecutive winning seasons, 19 playoff appearances, 13 division titles, 5 Super Bowl appearances and 2 victories. 270-178-6 Record, 3rd most wins of All-Time for an NFL Head Coach. NFL Record 20 consecutive winning seasons (1966-1985). Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1990.
5. Roger Staubach - Roger “the Dodger” as he was called, one of the best scrambling QB’s to ever play the game and led the Cowboys to 2 Super Bowl victories. Super Bowl VI MVP. Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1985.
6. Bob Lilly - Considered one of the greatest defensive linemen in NFL history. First draft pick in Dallas Cowboys franchise history. Main man in Dallas’ vaunted “Doomsday Defense.” Inducted into Hall of Fame in 1980.
7. Randy White - Missed one game In 14 years. The “Manster” played in 5 NFC Championships and 3 Super Bowls. 1978 was his breakout year as he registered 16 sacks, named to first of his 9 Pro Bowls and named co-MVP of Super Bowl XII, making him one of only seven defensive players to win that honor.
8. Tony Dorsett - On January 3, 1983, broke a 99-yard touchdown run against the Minnesota Vikings, which is the longest run from scrimmage in NFL history. Made the Pro Bowl four times and rushed for over 1,000 yards in 8 of his first 9 seasons. Only player in the history of football with the following five career achievements: A national college championship, a Heisman Trophy, a place in the Collegiate Hall of Fame, a Super Bowl championship, and enshrinement in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
9. Drew Pearson - Was selected as a free agent by the Dallas Cowboys, where he rose to become one of the NFL’s greatest wide receivers. Caught Roger Staubach’s 50 yard Hail Mary pass with 24 seconds remaining in the 1975 NFC Divisional Playoffs against Minnesota to beat the Vikings 17-14. Named to the 1970’s All-Decade Team.
10. Rayfield Wright - In 13 seasons, the “Big Cat” played 166 games, played in 6 NFC Championship Games and 5 Super Bowls. He was named to 6 Pro Bowls, while also winning Offensive Lineman of the Year in 1972. Member of the 1970’s All-Decade Team. Inducted in the Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor in 2004 and also the Hall of Fame in 2006.
