According to Politico, the popular political news website, there have been eight big boo-boos made by Barack Obama and John McCain campaigns so far. Their list includes:

1. “Bitter” – Obama’s quote at a San Francisco fundraiser in April about people in the Midwest being bitter and thus clinging to guns or religion.

2. Countless houses – John McCain forgetting how many houses he owns.

3. “Shout out to my pastor” – Obama’s friendly comments about his now-disavowed controversial pastor, The Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

4. Don’t know much about economy – McCain told the Wall Street Journal in 2005 that he didn’t know enough about the economy, and of his “need to be educated.”

5. “Likeable enough” – Obama’s comment to Hillary Clinton during a debate sparked a firestorm among her supporters that he was talking down to her.

6. “100 years” – McCain’s comment about how long American troops might stay in Irag has continued to cling to him in a negative way.

7. The “Ones” – Republicans will likely leap all over Obama’s comment about he and his supporters being “the Ones” who want change, invoking a GOP slap about a “messianic complex.”

8. Illiterate – McCain acknowledges that he knows nothing about using computers.
