Solar America Cities

With oil prices continuing to skyrocket, what’s a city to do? Well, 25 cities across the
country are actively using cutting-edge solar energy technologies, and the U.S. Department of Energy is acknowledging their efforts by naming them as Solar America Cities. The DOE selected 13 cities in June 2007 and 12 more in March 2008 with the idea that these cities can serve as a model for other cities around the nation.
