The Major League Baseball All-Star Game is big business. When the game’s best come to town for a game, they bring plenty of money and attention with them.

With the chance to pick up so much revenue and exposure, teams and cities jockey for the right to play host to the event. Here’s a list of cities that have held the Midsummer Classic most often:

New York – 8
Chicago – 7
Cleveland – 5
Pittsburgh – 5
St. Louis – 5
Boston – 4
Washington – 4
Cincinnati – 4
Detroit – 4
Philadelphia – 4
Milwaukee – 3
San Francisco – 3
Houston – 3
