Three years ago, they got the long-awaited “One for the Thumb.” In 2009, the Pittsburgh Steelers started on another hand with their latest Super Bowl victory.

Here’s the list of franchises which have won two or more:

Biggest NFL Crowds

The most attended game in NFL history wasn’t even an official game: It was a 1994 preseason meeting between the Houston Oilers and the Dallas Cowboys in Mexico City.

Benefitting from the sheer size of Azteca Stadium, 112,376 people crammed in to watch a meaningless battle between two Texas teams, a gate surely hyped by the Cowboys’ immense popularity south of the border.

Exhibition or not, that turnout still stands as the NFL record. Here’s a list of the top 10 attendance figures in league history, which includes just seven games played on U.S. soil:

112,376: Aug. 15, 1994: American Bowl (Azteca Stadium, Mexico City) – Cowboys vs. Oilers

106,424: Aug. 17, 1998: American Bowl (Azteca Stadium, Mexico City) — Cowboys vs. Patriots

105,840: Aug. 22, 1947: College All-Star Game (Soldier Field, Chicago) — Bears vs. All-Stars

105,121: Sept. 20, 2009: New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys (Cowboys Stadium, Arlington, Texas)*

104,629: Aug. 4, 1997: American Bowl (Estadio Guillermo Canedo, Mexico City) — Broncos vs. Dolphins

Most NFL seasons without a playoff appearance

The National Football League is designed to promote parity. No matter how badly run a franchise might be, the draft and salary cap make it difficult for the rich to get too much richer while the poor are left out of the process entirely.

Not everyone seems to get that. Entering the 2009 season, five teams have gone a baker’s dozen years or more without making a single playoff appearance.

Here’s the list:

Cincinnati Bengals — 18 years
Detroit Lions — 17 years
Kansas City Chiefs — 15 years
Cleveland Browns — 14 years
Buffalo Bills — 13 years

Forbes is out with its latest rankings of the most valuable National Football League franchises, and the Dallas Cowboys occupy the top spot for the third consecutive year.

While the NFL continues to rank as the most bankable product in professional sports, not all is well in the pro football kingdom. Eight teams — Indianapolis, Miami, St. Louis, Detroit, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Oakland and Seattle — lost value from their 2008 ratings.

Here are the Top 10, in billions:

Washington Redskins: $1,550
New England Patriots: $1,361
New York Giants: $1,183
New York Jets: $1,170
Houston Texans: $1,150
Philadelphia Eagles: $1,123
