Biggest Dow Percentage Gains

Tuesday’s 11.88 percent increase in the Dow Jones Industrial Average was the fourth-largest one-day percentage jump in the history of the index and the biggest in more than 75 years.
Two of the six largest one-day leaps in Dow history have occurred this month.
