Best Art Museums for Kids

If you are going to introduce your children to art, the earlier the better. Catch ‘em while they’re young, and they might not think a trip to the local art museum is the worst idea they’ve ever heard…EVER!

Some of the top institutions have come to understand this. That’s why many offer special tours for small children and camps for those a bit older.

Parents.com decided to take a look at which were America’s Best Art Museums for Kids. Here are Nos. 1-5:

1. Art Institute of Chicago

2. Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York)

3. Dayton Arts Institute

4. De Young, Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco

5. Carnegie Museum of Art (Pittsburgh)
