In the more than 100-year history of the World Series, the American League clearly has been having more fun. AL teams have a 60-41 edge overall on their National League rivals, meaning that a lot of American League clubs have been winning a lot of October baseball games.
Who has appeared in the most World Series games? With 26 titles and 39 trips to the Series overall, the New York Yankees have taken the field a whopping 212 times in the Fall Classic.
