‘Time’ Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People

Time just announced the Time 100, its fifth annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world. The list isn’t exactly a “best” list; it notes people who wield influence, whether for good or bad, in their respective area.

Although the list is numbered from 1 to 100, the magazine divides the list into five categories, and the numbering follows from category to category. It’s in both list form and individual profiles.

The magazine even included a chance for readers to vote on their own list — and the winner is … Shigeru Myamoto (if you’re asking, “Shigeru WHO?” you obviously aren’t playing enough Wii!).

Guess who’s the only person to make the Time 100 every time (hint: Her initials are O.W.!). Here are the top five in each category:
