World’s greatest bridges

The purpose of a bridge is to link one place with another. (Unless, of course, you’re building one in Alaska…)
That doesn’t mean you can’t make that connection with a bit of style. Many of the world’s most famous bridges are known as much for their beauty as for their functionality.
The ever-vigilant folks at Forbes Traveler have put together a list of the World’s Greatest Bridges. Some are obvious, others…not so much.
