Purists may be finding fault with the new Star Trek movie, but strong reviews could allow J.J. Abrams’ new take on the old franchise to boldly go where no Trek movie has gone before.

Of the first 10 films in the series, only one has topped $100 million in domestic ticket sales. The new release racked up $72.5 million on its opening weekend.

Here’s a list of the 10 Trek movies that preceded it, in order of domestic gross, with figures courtesy of boxofficemojo.com:

Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (1986) — $109,713,132

Star Trek: First Contact (1996) — $92,027,888

Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979) — $82,258,456

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982) — $78,912,963

Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984) — $76,471,046
