Western Pennsylvania’s family-like passion for the Super Bowl Champion Steelers earns the Steel City the last position, and the NHL’s Penguins added to the fun by winning the 2009 Stanley Cup. There’s no NBA team, and the baseball Pirates haven’t been anything special lately, but there’s still plenty to keep up with. If the pro scene isn’t enough, the University of Pittsburgh Panthers make some noise in football and basketball from time to time.
