NBA Multi-Time MVPs

In the course of leading the Lakers to the 2008 NBA Finals, Kobe Bryant joined an exclusive club: Players to claim the league’s coveted Most Valuable Player Award.
Despite the breakthrough, the star guard has some work to do in order to improve his standing on that list. A total of 11 players have won MVP honors two times or more, and seven have claimed the prize on three or more occasions.
Bob Pettit of St. Louis was the first MVP way back in 1956 and repeated in 1959. A Celtic has won the award on 10 different occasions. Bryant’s win made it the eighth time a Laker has come away with the prize.
