It’s a record that serves as testament both to brilliance and longevity. You have to do your thing very, very well, and you have to be lucky enough to do it for a long, long time.
Among the top scorers in NBA history through the 2007-08 season, only one active player (Denver’s Allen Iverson) ranks in the Top 20, and he’s in the final spot. The rest is a veritable Who’s Who of the game’s biggest names and greatest stars.
