As Barack Obama is sworn in as theĀ 44th President of the United States, here’s a list of theĀ 42 men who preceded him into office, with years served.

(And, yes, we at GetListy can add…at least most of the time. Why only 42 predecessors? Grover Cleveland was elected to two non-consecutive terms. As a result, Cleveland is both the 22nd and 24 president.)
