The Fugitive (1993)
Based on the 1960s TV series, Harrison Ford takes over from David Janssen as Dr. Richard Kimble, who goes on the run after being falsely accused of killing his wife. Ford and Tommy Lee Jones as Marshal Samuel Gerard are terrific in a film that delivers from start to finish, and Jones’ work earned him an Oscar. A relatively rare case of the remake improving on a revered original.
