Fleeting celebrities

If Andy Warhol was correct, everyone is due 15 minutes of fame. While we at GetListy eagerly await our turn, we couldn’t help but notice that 2008 somehow focused a spotlight on some highly unlikely individuals, many of whom already have slipped back into obscurity.

Time magazine picked up on this, too. Here’s their list of the year’s Top 10 Fleeting Celebrities, some of whom you already may have forgotten — or tried to, at least:

4. Henry Hager

5. Jason Castro

6. Josh Hamilton

7. Tricia Walsh-Smith

8. Martin Eisenstadt

9. Dina and Ali Lohan

Apparently, not all things cool and trendy make their way to the GetListy World Headquarters. If we’re being honest, only about six of these really rang a bell.
