Rosemary’s Baby (1968). For that matter, nobody ever thought that being married to an aspiring actor would be a charmed life. In this Polanski classic, John Cassavetes plays the wannabe, with Mia Farrow as his mousy, trusting wife. Cassaveters, who had a Satanic look anyway, ultimately sells Mia to the devil in exchange for stardom.
