Condé Nast Traveler’s 2008 Best Spas

This was a tough job, but correspondents for Condé Nast Traveler just had to do it –– they had to put up with all of that pampering, massaging, mud baths, pedicures, etc. to come up with the 76 best spas around the globe. Sheesh, if I’d have known they needed willing bodies, I would have volunteered to go to the Hermitage Bay Spa in Antigua (pictured) or the Spirito Spa in Lisbon, Portugal –– after all, I could really have used a phyto-aromatic massage, desert stone facial or a cucumber-and-aloe wrap. Not to mention just time to kick back and relax in an amazingly beautiful setting!
