U.S. Olympic Synchronized Swimming

A 10-woman team will battle for Olympic gold in Beijing in the synchronized swimming competition. They will compete in duet, team and combination divisions. The American team won gold medals in both the team and duet competitions at the 2007 Pan American games. In 2006 world competition, they upset perennial powerhouse Russia. That was the first time any country had defeated the Russian team since the 1996 Olympics.

Meghan Kinney (Berkeley, Calif.) – Age: 19; Height: 5′9
Andrea Nott (San Jose, Calif.) – Age: 26; Height: 5′9
Annabelle Orme (New York, N.Y.) – Age: 21; Height: 5′3
Jillian Penner (Seattle, Wash.) – Age: 20; Height: 5′8
Kim Probst (Troy, N.Y.) – Age: 26; Height: 5′3
