U.S. Olympic Men’s Water Polo Team

The men of the U.S. water polo team have a lot of experience on their side. Both team captain Tony Azevedo and Ryan Bailey, a veteran center, have played in prior Olympic games. Five other men on the team are returning Olympians, and the remaining men on the roster are newcomers to the Olympics.

Adam Wright (Seal Beach, CA.) – Attacker
Rick Merlo (Fresno, CA.) – Pos2-Meter Defense
Layne Beaubien (Coronado, CA.) – Defender
Tony Azevedo (Long Beach, CA.) – Attacker
Ryan Bailey (Long Beach, CA.) – Center
Tim Hutten (Seal Beach, CA.) - 2-Meter Defense
Jesse Smith (Coronado, CA.) – Defender
JW Krumpholz (Santa Ana, CA.) – Center
Brandon Brooks (Honolulu, HI.) – Goal Keeper
