Think most of the talent in high school football in America is dominated by a handful of states? According to Rivals.com, you’re right.

In putting together its preseason Top 100 high school teams in America, the publication kept track of where those schools were located. If you’re a college football fan — and, in particular, a recruiting buff — you won’t be surprised by where most of the talent is centered.

Here’s the list, with the number of Top 100 teams per state:

1. California –15

2. Florida — 11

3. Texas — 10

4. Ohio — 8

T5. Arizona, Pennsylvania, Georgia — 4.

Check out more about these talent hotbeds, andĀ find out who made the Top 100 overall, by visiting Rivals.com.
