U.S. Olympic Men’s Wrestling Team

Two forms of wrestling take place during the Olympic games: freestyle, and Greco-Roman. Six American men will compete in the freestyle category, and six others will compete in Greco-Roman. The U.S. men’s team coach is Steve Fraser, the first U.S. Olympic Greco-Roman champion in 1984.
Freestyle Wrestling

Ben Askren (Columbia, Mo.) – Weight: 163 lbs.

Daniel Cormier (Stillwater, Okla.) – Weight: 211.5 lbs.
Steve Mocco (Colorado Springs, Colo.) – Weight: 264.5 lbs.
Greco-Roman Wrestling
Spenser Mango (St. Louis, Mo.) – Weight: 121 lbs.
Jake Deitchler (Ramsey, Minn) – Weight: 145.5 lbs.
T.C. Dantzler (Colorado Springs, Colo.) – Weight: 163 lbs.
Brad Vering (Colorado Springs, Colo.) – Weight: 185 lbs.
Adam Wheeler (Colorado Springs, Colo.) – Weight: 211.5 lbs.
Dremiel Byers (Colorado Springs, Colo.) – Weight: 264.5 lbs.
