Best superfood choices

With so much emphasis on picking the right foods and eating better, a natural question arises:

What, exactly, are the right foods?

Every day, it seems, we read about some food item that supposedly was good for you but now is considered a no-no. Conversely, who would have thought red wine would find its way on to the “good” list?

After consulting with a variety of food experts, Forbes put together a list of “Surprising Superfoods.” Some of them certainly surprised us.

Here goes:

Raw chocolate

Buckwheat honey

Avocados

Pumpkin

Black tea

Eggs

Cinnamon

Tomato paste

Frozen blueberries

Wasabi
