Baseball’s 3,000 Hits Club

As Derek Jeter approached Lou Gehrig’s record for most hits ever by a Yankee, it got us wondering where Jeter might finish on the all-time Major League list.
To date, 26 players have earned membership in the 3,000 Hits Club. By passing Gehrig’s mark of 2,721 hits, the 35-year-old Jeter is on pace to crash the party some time during the 2011 season.
